Yesterday we went to a wine tasting festival. I liked them all lol the food afterwards at the campground was even better. There have been sightings of deer, eagles and chipmunks. It is just so peaceful and beautiful here. If you get the chance you must come WA. and see some of God's beauty

Where was I?
Here I go again adding something of my life to a blog. No body, reads them but I still get a kick out of doing it when someone or something reminds me that I started doing this blog. We have gone up to Washington, to visit and Rich to work up at the KOA campground in Leavenworth. I love it up here. Our friends up here and of course the beauty in the area. While up here we found a truck to buy that had everything Richard wanted on it to be able to travel across the states pulling our 36' fifth wheel. In the meantime we sold our other truck to a friend up here. So it all worked out fine.
We have been on the go everyday and on the 4th of July we all went to the celebration together having a great time. Just like the old days. I miss my children and Grandchildren very much, just wish they were all up here with us.

On the road again?

Ok the plan is to go up to Washington for a while. Rich will be working at the camp ground and also helping David Witt with his home he is building. We have gone to WA to work for 5 years of season from April to Oct. and we always had a great time. I won't be working this time but in the past I worked at the desk and in the store. The campground is a KOA. Washington is one of our favorite states that we have traveled to in our RV. The mountains, rivers, and wild life has always been the best part of staying there. Our friends that we made there are all near and dear to our heart. We were saddened when we lost Gene to Cancer. He will be greatly missed.
Well before we do get on the road I have to down size everything I have in the fifth wheel. I have way to much STUFF!!! Most of it will have to go into storage. Our target date to leave is June 17,but we will see if I'm finished with all I have to do.

Back again!
Here it is a year later than my last entry to the blog. And what's funny is no one missed it. You ratzafratzas. LOL I was reminded by one of my nieces, Carrie. She has gotten a computer and is learning the wonderful things you can do on them. I am still learning and to tell the truth most of the time don't know what the heck I'm doing. I must have heard about G-mail and quickly signed up for it and found the blogs, so I tried it out. Dah! because I am always forgetting things I just forgot I had started the blog.
Rich and I are still in CA. and he hasn't been going out of town as much mainly because of the economy. Most of his out of town jobs have stopped.
He did have a fall and broke his ankle in Feb. and he is still recouping. We hope to be back on the road soon and one of our trips will be to visit Illinois again. A lot of family there and it's always nice to go back home to see all the changes.

Failure again!
Well I tried again to loose some weight now that my hubby is not here to have all his goodies in the house. I know that Weight Watches works so I thought I would go on the program myself. I did great for about a week and a half. Then I went back to large servings. That is my real problem, I just eat to much. I love all foods and just don't know how to stop. Not going to the WW meetings might be the mistake because I don't have to show any progress to anyone. I am thinking of joining a group to take care of that problem. Wish me luck.
I still don't know if this blog is read by anyone but I still enjoy getting some of this stuff off my mind. I don't think I even remembered to post some of the first few that I did. LOL
I did have some good news this week from family that there might be a inheritance coming from my Godmother. She was a caring gentle woman and at a time in her life that she needed help my hubby and myself quit our job that was only a temporary one but close to where she lived. We helped her with getting her home ready for sale and the move back to Illinois where we were all born. She eventually moved on to Indiana to a retirement home in the care of one of my cousins. She past away this year and hopefully a gentle quiet passing. She had promised me a set of small chairs that her brother, my Uncle did the seats in needlepoint. I thought they were beautiful and would cherish them. So I hope that is the inheritance that will be coming somewhere down the line.

Rich's new job

Rich went on his way to work in Sealy Tx. just outside of Houston. He is working on some kind of vehicles that are to be sent to our armed forces. In checking almost every nut, bolt, wire and fluid on these trucks. He finds it very interesting and gives him pride knowing that he has worked on vehicles our troops will be using to protect our country. When he comes back home I'm sure he will have all kind of stories to tell us.
I miss him dearly and look forward to him being here again.
We missed being together for his 70th Birthday and will have to celebrate later on.
This Sunday is Mother's Day and even though I'm not his mother but the mother of his children I will once again dearly miss his kidding and teasing and making my day.
